Located about a 6-minute drive east of Santa Cruz, Tangolunda Bay is considered the resort sector. The vast majority of high-end resorts are found here including Camino Real, Quinta Real, Dreams, Barcelo, and Las Brisas. As a result, those choosing to stay in a resort will likely end up here.
This area has a divers set of restaurants –both on resort grounds and off – offering a variety of international cuisine. The most notable resort restaurants are Las Cúpulas located at Quinta Real and Azul Profundo located at Camino Real. Situated just outside the resort barriers are Café Viena and Don Porfirio, two excellent restaurant choices. Locals and offsite visitors can take advantage of resort amenities by purchasing a day pass, which are available at every resort.
