Located about a 5-minute drive east of Tangolunda bay, La Bocana is best known for being a phenomenal surf spot. Both locals and tourists alike come here to enjoy the laid back atmosphere and ride a few waves. Several tours are based out of (or near) La Bocana including the self-guided tour of the Parque Eco Arqueologico as well as popular beachside surf lessons. Those who go on the rafting tour with Aventura Mundo will wind up at Playa Bocana where the Copalita River meets the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps the most unique activity that can be done here is the all-natural mud bath and massage available on the beach for a mere $5.
