Rafting Huatulco | Raft in HuatulcoWhat distinguishes the two, apart from the length, is the sections you will be taken on, which provide different classes of rapids. (Both packages include insurance)

Half Day

Class I and II rapids

1-3 hours

The shorter trip is a much more leisurely tour – more of a float trip – on the lower half of the river. You will begin the tour at your accommodations where the tour company will pick you and your group up in their air conditioned van.

First you will be taken to Village Copalita where you will be immersed in the true Mexican culture. Explore the town and learn about their environmental efforts to preserve the iguana population at the Iguanatarium.

Next you will be taken to the drop in spot and, after a quick safety overview, you will jump in your rafts and be on your way!

Booking

Rafting in Huatulco | Mountain viewAlthough there are other Huatulco rafting tours offered in town, it is highly recommended that you book through My Huatulco Vacation as they are in direct contact with the tour group, provide the best rates and, most importantly, insurance. Something not found through many local tour providers.

This rafting tour is suitable for all ages; however it is recommended that children bring their own life preservers as the ones provided locally are not the highest quality.

If you want to experience an action packed adventure while also getting in some quality sightseeing, than this Huatulco rafting tour is perfect for you!
