Destinations

The tour begins in the Santa Cruz harbor, it is here where you and your guests will board the chartered yacht. As you depart you will quickly come upon el faro (Spanish for lighthouse) which overlooks Entrega beach on one side and Organo Bay on the other.

Lighthouse/Blow hole, Huatulco MexicoLocated on the protruding coastline next to Organo bay, this site offers a little something extra…thanks to the repeated impact of the water crashing into the rocks, a blowhole was formed that spews water as the waves collide with the coast. The captain will pull up alongside the blowhole to give you some great photo opps here.

Continuing on, you will come to Maguey bay, typically once here, the captain will drop anchor to give you an opportunity to explore if you wish to do so. While here you should grab a bite to eat at Ay Caray, a beach front restaurant offering outstanding seafood and ice cold drinks.

Located directly beside Maguey bay is, the previously mentioned, Organo Bay. This protected bay offers excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions. If snorkeling interests you, be sure to bring your own equipment.

Carrying on, you will travel to Chachacual bay, also a part of the eco reserve, this bay is home to the renowned beach, La India.

Another interesting fact about Chachacual bay is every year more than 100 000 sea turtles travel here to lay their eggs. An amazing natural phenomenon.

Finally, you will be taken to the well known tourist spot, San Agustin. You will quickly notice that this area is far more developed than the other bays you’ve encountered on your tour.

Here you can hop of the boat and venture into one of the many palapa style restaurants to enjoy a full meal, and/or some refreshing drinks before returning to the Santa Cruz harbor.

Water Conditions

It should be noted that Huatulco’s waters are not for the faint of heart, the waters out at sea are always rough. For this reason, if you are prone to sea sickness invest in the patches that go behind your ear, which must be purchased before you head to Huatulco.
