Traveling To Huatulco Made Easier During Off Season
It was recently announced that AeroMexico is going to pick up the route from Mexico City to Huatulco. International travelers can rejoice as this finally offers Canadian travelers an airline to fly – during the off season – from their origin city to Huatulco without the headaches of domestic transfers. If you follow this blog you will know that in recent posts we have talked about the hassle travelers must go through to get to Huatulco during the off season.
With AeroMexico taking on this new route, travelers will have a much easier time getting to Huatulco. This is the first carrier to step up to the plate by offering this route since Mexicana Airlines went under in the summer of 2010. To date, travelers have all had to depend on Continental’s route through Houston (which is often cost-prohibitive due to demand).
Canadian travelers now have a few options when flying to Huatulco during the off season
1. They can fly from any major Canadian city to Houston and from Houston to Huatulco (on Continental)
2. They can fly from any major Canadian city to Mexico City and from Mexico City to Huatulco (transfering to Interjet, Viva Aerobus, etc.)
3. OR the new option of booking through AeroMexico where you fly from any major Canadian city to Mexico city, only now there is no need to transfer to the domestic side before continuing on to Huatulco.
