The entire main floor offers an open concept, free of walls in the common areas, so that your access to sun and surf is constant. The kitchen is a chef’s dream! With a large gas range and tons of counter space, you can cook and create to your heart’s desire – while still watching and listening to the Huatulco oceanscape in front of you. The kitchen also offers a breakfast bar area with four stools so guests can keep the chef company while meals are prepared.

The main floor also offers a large and comfortable living area space with all the entertainment amenities in tow. The sound system is wired throughout the main floor – right out to the edge of the deck and pool area, so you can enjoy your favorite tunes! There is also an outdoor bed complete with a mosquito netting for a night when you feel like sleeping with the stars and surf. The property manager can put it up for guests who wish to try out the experience.

The pool is quite large and offers both a shallow area, perfect for reading a book, and swim-up bar stools, perfect for enjoying a cool Corona. Beside the pool is a dining area, with seating for eight guests. The unique dining table is another decor element that incorporates La Bocana‘s natural resources.

The main floor also offers a bedroom (king bed) complete with a full ensuite bath.

The upper floor offers two additional bedrooms – both with king beds and ensuite baths. The master is a stunning room with a wall of windows to the sea. It is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee in bed while you gaze out at paradise. The ensuire in the master bath is another special room. The vanity is again constructed from natural elements and the open-air shower is absolutely incredible!

Located directly next door to this property is a local massage shop. The ladies from the shop will be willing to come into the villa and use the villa’s own massage bed, stored on property, to give you an hour of pampering for just $35 USD! Good luck staying awake for the whole experience!!

If you feel like venturing out to enjoy La Bocana, there are great restaurants just steps away, a surf rental and lesson shop run by ex-pat Adam Boulton. It’s a little hit and miss to find him there, but you can keep your eye open for him since you’re so close. Also, you are located on the beach where local mud bath exfoliation massages are offered. For $5/person, Oaxacan ladies will lather you with mineral-rich mud for a skin exfoliation experience. It’s a fun experience and for five bucks, why not?! Lastly, there is a little bodega around the corner where you’ll find a local variety-style shop. They carry the essentials but…they also sell handmade, hot and fresh corn tortillas (SO GOOD) and fresh eggs.
