Breakdown Of Bedrooms
This expansive villa consists of 5 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom, which encompasses the top floor, comes complete with a full ensuite and king sized bed. Not to mention the most impressive feature, access to the private rooftop terrace. This huge terrace includes a dining table so you can either enjoy the sun, or cool of in the shade. This terrace is also accessible through the house’s central stairway and elevator.
The second floor houses 4 more bedrooms, including a kids bedroom with bunk beds and access to its own ensuite. The other 3 bedrooms each have a king sized beds as well as access to their own private ensuite and terrace.
All bedroom are air conditioned, however the crisp sea breeze and ceiling fans are often enough to cool you down at night. In addition, all bedrooms include both a TV and DVD player as well as a CD player/radio/docking station. Another key feature of this villa is it offers wireless access throughout the property.
Living And Entertainment Area
Villa Playa El Violin has an expansive open air living space with plenty of seating and room to roam. In fact, this villa is home to a majestic Oaxacan hand crafted dinning table with seating for 12.

Swim up bars, buffet style meals and all you can drink banana daiquiris 24/7! What more do you really need out of a vacation really? Well, I can honestly say that those days are over as we have a new found love for a new style of vacationing that blows “resort style” vacationing out of the water.
My husband and I as well as our 10 month old son took a family vacation to Huatulco last month and we are now 100% sold on the “villa rental style” vacation from here on out. We have taken many a vacation to Mexico over the past 6 years and really thought that staying at an all inclusive resort was the bees knees. It was not until we stepped outside the box a little on this last vacation that we have changed our view on how we will vacation from here on out.
We stayed in this here villa (Villa Playa El Violin) with a few other couples and had an amazing experience. It was the perfect set up for us with our own beautiful spacious bedrooms and amazing ensuites, an infinity pool with a spectacular view of the ocean and to top it off we were showered with amazing service by both the cleaning staff and kitchen help. We chose the option to have a chef prepare meals for us daily and it was the best decision we could have made. It was so nice to come down stairs each morning to freshly brewed coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a home cooked breakfast along with a friendly greeting from the staff. The meals were out of this world. Everything was made from scratch including the specially prepared baby food for out 10 month old son. He ate like a King all week and we knew that his food was prepped safely and fresh each day.
The best part for us as new parents was that we were able to keep a solid routine for our little guy with this great set up. He took a morning and afternoon nap in his room while we basked in the sun and swam in the pool with the baby monitor on close by. We were able to put him down each night and head back downstairs to be with our friends with the baby monitor on as well. We felt safe and relaxed knowing that he was asleep and content in his room while we were just a few steps away enjoying our evenings by the pool and truly having a vacation. This is something that would be virtually impossible to pull off at a resort. We would have had to plan ahead for every nap, every trip to the buffet and our evenings would have been spent in our rooms or on a balcony while our little man slept. Access to a highchair and playpen at the villa made for less packing and easy living with a baby as well.
Strolls into town with the stroller and access to beautiful beaches made for great days spent in Huatulco.
I cannot stress the feeling of relaxation that comes with staying in a villa versus an all inclusive resort. No lineups for your meals, less people around the pool, music selection and volume control at your fingertips, service that does not even compare and most importantly the privacy of your own villa with your own close friends and family.
Like I said, we are sold. Check ya later resorts…villas from here on out!
