Water Conditions

Bays And Dive Sites


Sites like Cacaluta Island, San Augustin Bay, El Violin and El Organo are just some of the amazing beaches/dive sites you can choose from. Not to mention Maguey Bay with its marvelous Seahorses. These majestic locations also include some deeper sites providing more excitement for experienced divers.

Investigating spots like, La Montosa, Punta Tejon, or La Grieta offers you the chance to dive into many small caves and holes. While here, you will bare witness to a variety of marine life, with a good chance of spotting such things as; nurse sharks, big green moray eels, and huge rays!

During the winter season (November to April), our amazing Pacific Ocean lets us enjoy Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, huge Manta Rays, Whale Sharks. All sorts of different rays come to visit the sandy bottoms, including the rare Butterfly Rays.

For very experienced divers there’s a magnificent opportunity to dive beyond Huatulco’s bay area at sites like Salchi, and Chipehua.

You will begin by navigating in a 51’’ yacht, complete with all the amenities, during the trip you can see huge groups of Dolphins (spinner and bottle nose), turtles and of course Humpback Whales.


Because there is less boat traffic in Huatulco’s waters, you will have the opportunity to dive in a virgin area with a great chance of spotting some Bull Sharks, White Tip Sharks, Manta Rays and more!
